Before burning your candle, make sure that your candle is well trimmed by removing as much of the black burnt parts as possible. You can use a paper towel or your fingers to pinch it, it should come right off.
That's it! Your candle should burn well after that. It should already be 1/4" long, which is the ideal length of a wooden wick to burn optimally.
Trim your candles to 1/4" by removing the black parts and it should burn better!
We only use the best fragrance oils / essential oils that burn cleanly and does not contain any phthlates or toxins.
As a candle lover myself, all too often I've found that big department store candles contain cheap toxic ingredients that gave me a big headache every time I smelled it.
We assure you that you won't get a headache smelling our candles, or we'll refund your money, no questions asked.
We use about 70% Coconut Wax and 30% Soy Wax. We found that this combination gives you the best melt pool, burns cleanly because it's a natural ingredients that isn't riddled with toxins, and holds a very strong cold throw and hot throw.
For safety, we recommend burning the candles for a maximum of 4 hours per session!
We are very proud of our wax! It is 100% natural and burns extremely well with minimal smoke, soot, and burns extremely clean into the air relatively to something like Paraffin wax which is what most candles are in the market.
Because we use top of the line materials (from the vessel, to the wick, wax, and fragrance oils), we want to provide as much value in one candle as we possibly could and have to price it accordingly.
But here's the thing: our wax burns twice as slowly as Parrafin wax (most other candles in the market) and thus the Dollars per hour burned is actually in-line or cheaper than the other candles in the broader market.
A 13 oz candle made of Parraffin wax might only get you 30-40 hours of burn time in a much more unhealthy wax, where as our 13 oz candle made of Coconut Soy wax would get you 60-70 hours and burns clean.
